Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the company-wide AI enablement strategy for adoption, literacy, and safe use of AI tools across Abridge, ensuring alignment with HIPAA, SOC 2, and FedRAMP Moderate compliance requirements.
- • Design and execute AI enablement programs including onboarding, team-level deep dives, AI Champions initiatives, and recurring educational formats like the AI Hype Machine series.
- • Embed directly with business teams (Engineering, Product, Clinical, Operations) to co-create AI use cases, identify workflow friction, and deliver hands-on training that builds durable AI capability.
- • Develop and maintain a comprehensive content library including prompt engineering guides, use case playbooks, safe-use decision trees, onboarding materials, and recorded walkthroughs tailored for non-technical audiences.
- • Own the AI tool intake and evaluation process as the single front door for all new AI tool, connector, or integration requests, assessing them against BAA status, data classification, and contractual constraints.
- • Maintain and update the Abridge Global SaaS AI Matrix, documenting approved tools, permitted data types, approved connectors, and explicitly prohibited tools to ensure clarity and accessibility.
- • Coordinate with IT, Security, and Legal teams to execute Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with AI vendors, track coverage gaps, and proactively manage evolving agentic tooling risks.
- • Identify and mitigate shadow AI usage by making governed pathways easier than ungoverned ones through clear policy, fast intake turnaround, and proactive communication.
- • Define and track adoption KPIs including active usage rates, session depth, intake request volume, and time-to-approval, reporting metrics regularly to IT leadership and the CISO.
- • Instrument enablement programs with pre/post fluency assessments, qualitative feedback loops, and outcome proxies to measure business impact and drive iterative improvements.
- • Partner with the CISO and Enterprise Security Director to ensure AI enablement programs reflect current security policies, enforce correct data handling behaviors, and surface emerging risk patterns.
- • Translate complex AI, security, and compliance concepts into accessible language for engineers, clinicians, executives, and operations staff to drive cross-functional adoption.
- • Maintain currency of training content and governance frameworks as the AI tooling landscape evolves, ensuring alignment with new models, platforms, and enterprise integrations.
- • Drive AI literacy into daily workflows across departments—not just as knowledge, but as practiced behavior—by embedding enablement into team routines and decision-making processes.
- • Instrument tracking mechanisms to collect and analyze usage data, using insights to refine programs, prioritize resources, and inform executive reporting.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and compliance stakeholders to balance innovation speed with regulatory rigor in a healthcare AI environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8 years in technical program management, enablement, or IT role with focus on technology adoption
- • Direct experience with AI or enterprise SaaS rollouts
- • Demonstrated hands-on experience with generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or equivalent), agentic workflows, and prompt engineering
- • Familiarity with data handling requirements in regulated environments (HIPAA experience strongly preferred)
- • Proven ability to design, launch, and iterate on multi-stakeholder programs without a large team
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
🏖️ Benefits
- • 14 paid holidays and flexible PTO for salaried employees
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and families
- • Monthly HSA contributions for those on High Deductible Health Plans
- • Generous paid parental leave and family forming benefits
- • 401(k) matching contributions
- • Personal device allowance with tax-free funds
