📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain core AI services and components that enable efficient decision-making across the organization and enhance the customer experience.
• Architect and develop both internal AI automation systems and customer-facing AI-powered systems (such as text and voice chatbots, recommendation systems, etc.) that shape the future of online retail.
• Act as an advocate for AI-driven transformation, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and practical, user-centric product features.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver practical solutions that drive business value.
• Proactively implement strategies to improve the cost-efficiency of AI systems.
• Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks to ensure systems meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and meaningful guardrails.
• Design, deploy, monitor, and evaluate customer-facing AI agents that improve the shopping experience and proactively assist users.
• Design AI systems capable of real-time interaction with spoken user input.
• Establish comprehensive observability and monitoring for all AI systems.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain robust software development cycles.
• Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver practical solutions that drive business value.
• Support the cost-efficiency of AI systems by proactively implementing strategies like intelligent model routing, caching, prompt and context optimization.
• Collaborate with the AI Engineering team to drive automation and smart decision-making across the company.
• Design and optimize AI-driven systems, from ETL pipelines to autonomous AI agents, and integrate them with public APIs, LLMs, and databases.
• Create scalable, data-powered solutions that improve both customer-facing products and internal operations.
• Work closely with Product, Data, and Tech teams to create solutions that drive business value.
• Develop and maintain production-grade systems using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Design and develop autonomous AI agents that can reason, plan, and execute complex business processes.
• Experience with human-in-the-loop processes.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.
• Establish comprehensive observability and monitoring for all AI systems.
• Implement rigorous evaluation frameworks to ensure systems meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and meaningful guardrails.

🎯 Requirements

• Foundational Experience: 3-5 years of experience in software engineering with proven proficiency in Python, experience building and deploying applications on a major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure), and a solid understanding of AI, LLM and ML fundamentals.
• Generative AI Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade systems using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong experience using modern coding agents to produce production-ready code efficiently.
• Production & Ops Skills: Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining systems in a production environment.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD principles.
• Knowledge of LLMOps principles and tools for versioning, observability, evaluation, and cost management.
• Strategic & Collaborative Skills: A pragmatic, product-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering practical solutions and excellent communication skills.
