We are seeking an experienced AI Product Engineer to join our early-stage efforts in defining and building AI-native products that reshape legal processing experiences. This role is perfect for a hands-on builder who thrives at the intersection of cutting-edge AI capabilities and exceptional product design, eager to craft intelligent, user-facing features from the ground up and push the boundaries of what's achievable with Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic workflows.
- • Our mission is to make business immigration as seamless as signing an offer letter, addressing the critical pain points of lengthy processing times, lost job offers due to visa delays, and overwhelming compliance paperwork for HR teams. We achieve this by integrating human expertise with AI innovation, bringing speed, clarity, and compliance to the process. You will be instrumental in building real systems that accelerate immigration processes, enhance reliability, and reduce the stress associated with it for both extraordinary individuals and the companies that hire them.
- • As an AI Product Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in taking LLM-powered solutions from initial concept and prototyping all the way to scaled production systems. This involves developing and shipping new AI-native product experiences across the entire Casium platform. You will be responsible for building LLM-powered agents capable of autonomously reasoning through complex, multi-step immigration workflows, significantly enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to contributing actively to our evolving AI product stack. This includes deep engagement with prompt orchestration, sophisticated context engineering, robust evaluation frameworks (evals), efficient embedding strategies, and advanced retrieval systems. You will also develop and maintain backend services that seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into our user-facing products, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience for our customers.
- • Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with our AI platform, infrastructure, and design teams to continuously push the capabilities of both our internal tooling and external customer-facing products. This cross-functional engagement ensures that we are building cohesive, powerful solutions that address real-world challenges.
- • Staying at the forefront of the AI ecosystem is crucial. You will be expected to keep abreast of the latest advancements and tools, such as Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Agent SDK, and various model-centric platforms (MCPs), identifying opportunities to adopt emerging techniques and integrate them into Casium’s product offerings.
- • Beyond technical contributions, you will have a significant opportunity to influence Casium’s broader AI product strategy and technical vision. Your insights and experience will help shape the direction of our AI initiatives, ensuring we remain innovative and competitive.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on backend or full-stack development.
- • Demonstrated experience successfully shipping AI-powered product features into production environments.
- • Proficiency in Python, Postgres, and modern backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, SQLAlchemy).
- • Fluency with modern LLM platforms, AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code), and prompt/retrieval orchestration techniques.
- • A strong bias toward rapid experimentation, coupled with the ability to build and maintain reliable systems at scale.
- • Experience with or a keen interest in AI-native workflows such as RAG pipelines, vector databases, LLM observability, evaluation frameworks, agents, and AI development tooling.
