📋 Description
- • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and generative AI models (LLMs, NLP, predictive models) into production environments to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- • Build scalable APIs, pipelines, and microservices to support AI-powered applications across retirement, wealth, and employee benefits businesses.
- • Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent-based systems, and model orchestration frameworks to enable smarter decision-making.
- • Collaborate with Product, Data, and Business teams to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate business needs into technical solutions with measurable outcomes.
- • Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure responsible AI practices and regulatory alignment within the financial services industry.
- • Establish best practices for model development, testing, monitoring, and performance optimization to ensure high standards for code quality, scalability, security, and reliability.
- • Contribute to modern engineering practices including DevOps, MLOps, and CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end AI solution delivery.
- • Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and pragmatically evaluate and implement new tools, frameworks, and platforms such as LLMs, vector databases, and orchestration tools.
- • Contribute to Voya’s AI strategy and long-term technology roadmap by advancing the organization’s AI capabilities.
- • Instill customer obsession by building AI solutions that improve outcomes for customers and financial advisors.
- • Transform with automation and AI by leveraging modern AI capabilities to reduce friction and scale impact across operations.
- • Drive performance through collaboration by elevating collective capability across technical and non-technical teams.
- • Execute on the fundamentals by delivering reliable, secure, and scalable AI solutions with discipline and attention to detail.
- • Operate in a regulated financial services environment with strict requirements for data privacy, compliance, and risk management.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5–10+ years in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML development
- • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML models in production environments
- • Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- • Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and/or RAG architectures preferred
- • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data ecosystems
- • Experience operating in regulated or data-sensitive environments (financial services preferred)
