- • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI models—from ideation and data acquisition to prompt engineering, fine-tuning, deployment, and continuous optimization—ensuring sub-second latency and 99.9 % uptime for mission-critical screening workflows.
- • Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines that fuse structured HR data with unstructured documents (résumés, court records, identity proofs) to generate compliant, explainable risk summaries for Fortune 100 hiring managers.
- • Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python that expose LLM capabilities to internal micro-services and external partners, enforcing OAuth 2.0, rate-limiting, and audit-grade logging.
- • Leverage Microsoft Azure’s AI stack (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, Functions, AKS, and API Management) to create cloud-native services that auto-scale from hundreds to millions of requests while keeping cloud spend within FinOps guardrails.
- • Craft precise, bias-mitigated prompts for one-shot, few-shot, and chain-of-thought scenarios, continuously A/B testing prompt variants to improve accuracy, reduce hallucinations, and meet global compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, PDPA).
- • Integrate computer-vision models to extract and verify data from identity documents, facial recognition checks, and handwriting samples, reducing manual review time by 40 % and cutting fraud-related losses.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional squads of data scientists, UX researchers, product managers, and legal counsel to translate complex regulatory requirements into intuitive AI features that delight users and accelerate time-to-hire.
- • Establish rigorous MLOps practices: automated unit, integration, and shadow tests; CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions; model versioning with MLflow; and real-time drift monitoring using Azure Monitor and Prometheus.
- • Create comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and SDKs that empower junior engineers and client developers to integrate and extend AI services safely and efficiently.
- • Champion ethical AI and privacy-by-design principles, conducting fairness audits and adversarial testing to ensure our models treat every candidate with respect, integrity, and fairness.
- • Stay at the forefront of AI research—experiment with cutting-edge techniques such as LoRA fine-tuning, quantized inference, and multi-modal transformers—and present findings in internal tech talks and external conferences.
- • Mentor associate engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and brown-bag sessions, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and psychological safety across our globally distributed workforce.
- • Drive post-mortems and blameless retrospectives after each release, translating insights into actionable backlog items that harden security, boost performance, and elevate user experience.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying Generative AI applications with Large Language Models (OpenAI GPT, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent) in production environments.
- • Expert-level proficiency in at least one of TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python, with demonstrated ability to write clean, testable, and performant code for AI-driven micro-services.
- • Proven track record designing and implementing RAG, one-shot/few-shot prompting, NLP pipelines, or computer-vision workflows that have scaled to 1M+ requests per month.
- • Solid experience developing RESTful or GraphQL APIs, including authentication, rate-limiting, versioning, and comprehensive Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
- • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services—Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, Functions, AKS, Key Vault, and Monitor—or equivalent AWS/GCP AI stack.
- • Nice-to-have: Full-stack development background (React/Angular front end), knowledge of Azure AI Studio, or contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
