📋 Description
- • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple AI initiatives to meet scope, timelines, quality expectations, and business objectives.
- • Mentor and support AI Engineers and Software Engineers by setting clear direction, providing coaching, and building a high-performing team.
- • Partner with stakeholders across product, science, clinical, operations, and engineering to define requirements, priorities, milestones, risks, and success metrics.
- • Translate stakeholder needs into technical roadmaps, delivery plans, and resourcing strategies for AI-powered products and platforms.
- • Guide solution design, software development, model integration, testing, deployment, and operational support across the AI project portfolio.
- • Drive strong AI research and engineering practices across the team, ensuring adherence to high-quality, secure, scalable, and maintainable standards.
- • Coordinate cross-team dependencies, remove blockers, and communicate project status, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- • Balance innovation and experimentation with execution discipline, scalability, reliability, and compliance considerations.
- • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, team planning, and continuous improvement of delivery processes and engineering standards.
- • Ensure AI solutions are delivered with strong outcomes for the business and customers, aligning technical execution with strategic goals.
- • Support the development of AI-powered products and platforms through end-to-end ownership of technical delivery and team performance.
- • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the AI engineering team.
- • Apply knowledge of modern AI/ML tooling, backend services, APIs, and data pipelines to guide technical decision-making.
- • Ensure production deployment of AI solutions adheres to cloud-based architecture standards and operational best practices.
- • Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive alignment across competing priorities and secure buy-in for AI initiatives.
- • Promote the adoption of robust engineering practices including testing, monitoring, version control, and documentation.
- • Maintain awareness of emerging AI trends, particularly in generative AI, LLM-enabled workflows, retrieval systems, and AI-assisted product capabilities.
- • Uphold compliance and regulatory standards in alignment with Clario’s mission in healthcare and life sciences.
- • Support the team’s contribution to unlocking better evidence and accelerating life-changing therapies for patients.
