📋 Description

• As an AI Enterprise Solutions Architect at Solventum, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare innovation by designing and governing end-to-end AI solution architectures that span discovery, design, delivery, and operations. Your work will directly enable healthcare professionals to perform at their best by translating complex business needs into scalable, responsible, and secure AI systems that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency across the enterprise.
• Day to day, you will consult with cross-functional teams across corporate functions and business units to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable AI architectures; define and maintain enterprise AI reference architectures, standards, and reusable patterns covering data, platforms, applications, and integrations; lead build/buy/partner decision-making processes including vendor evaluation, platform strategy, and long-term ecosystem alignment; design and govern modern AI architectures such as Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic systems, ensuring robust data and knowledge layers; embed responsible AI principles into all solution designs by addressing data governance, privacy, compliance, and risk management; and collaborate with engineering, data, security, and governance stakeholders to drive alignment and influence outcomes without direct authority.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise AI architecture at scale, gain influence over strategic technology direction in a regulated industry, and have the opportunity to shape an Enterprise AI Center of Excellence from the ground up. You will advance your leadership in responsible AI, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge Generative AI and agentic systems, and position yourself as a trusted advisor to senior leaders — all while contributing to solutions that have tangible impact on patient care and healthcare delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 12+ years of experience in enterprise, solution, or platform architecture roles supporting large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
• 5 years of experience designing and governing enterprise data architectures, including platforms and semantic layers that support analytics and AI
• 3 years of experience in architectural leadership across Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic architectures, with accountability for design decisions and outcomes
• Experience guiding AI initiatives from early discovery through development, production deployment, and long-term lifecycle management
• Experience incorporating security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI requirements into solution architectures
• Ability to lead through influence, partnering effectively with business leaders, product teams, engineering, data, security, and governance stakeholders
