- • Own the day-to-day operation of the enterprise AI governance program, ensuring AI initiatives are governed consistently, transparently, and in alignment with enterprise guardrails, risk management expectations, and policy requirements.
- • Translate responsible AI principles, risk guidance, and governance standards into executable processes, documentation requirements, and checkpoints that scale with AI adoption.
- • Coordinate structured AI governance intake workflows once AI use cases are formally proposed, ensuring all required documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned to enterprise standards.
- • Apply consistent documentation templates, evidence requirements, and artifact expectations across all AI initiatives to maintain uniformity and compliance.
- • Ensure governance checkpoints are completed prior to key delivery milestones, enabling timely and compliant progression of AI projects.
- • Clarify governance requirements, timelines, and responsibilities for delivery teams and sponsors to eliminate ambiguity and drive accountability.
- • Define and maintain the end-to-end governance lifecycle for AI initiatives, from initial intake through production use and eventual decommissioning.
- • Act as the primary orchestration point between Enterprise Data & AI teams and risk-related stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and Model Risk.
- • Serve as the central coordination hub without serving as a policy-setting, risk-acceptance, or technical review authority.
- • Ensure governance expectations are clearly understood, proportionate to risk, and applied consistently across all AI initiatives.
- • Maintain and update governance documentation standards to reflect evolving regulatory, ethical, and operational requirements.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed governance practices into AI development and deployment workflows.
- • Support the adoption of GenAI and Agentic AI by ensuring governance frameworks adapt to emerging technologies and use cases.
- • Monitor and report on governance program effectiveness, identifying opportunities for process improvement and scalability.
- • Facilitate communication and alignment between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure governance is understood and followed at all levels.
- • Promote a culture of responsible AI by providing structure, visibility, and coordination while respecting the autonomy of technical and business teams.
