📋 Description

• As an AI Integrations Engineer (Open Source) at SearchApi Inc., you will ship real integrations and pull requests into the open-source ecosystem, ensuring SearchApi is embedded in the libraries, agent frameworks, and automation tools developers use daily—driving adoption through contribution, not visibility.
• Day to day, you will identify high-leverage integration opportunities across agent and automation platforms, write and submit PRs to repos you don’t own, build MCP servers and integrations in Ruby, Python, or TypeScript, create example apps and documentation, and stay current with fast-moving trends in AI tooling and workflow automation.
• SearchApi Inc. is a lean, profitable, bootstrapped company delivering real-time SERP data from 100+ search engines to Fortune 500s, AI startups, and developers. With no VC pressure, the team focuses on shipping real products to real customers, operating with autonomy and impact.
• In this role, you will gain deep influence in the AI and automation ecosystem, see your work adopted by thousands of developers through merged PRs, build a public track record of open-source contributions, and grow as a self-directed engineer shaping how search data flows into AI agents and workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• Merged open-source contributions in repositories you do not own
• Experience building and shipping an integration, library, or MCP server used by others
• Fluency in at least one of Ruby, Python, or TypeScript/Node and hands-on experience with an agent or automation framework such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, n8n, or similar
