Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end AI & automation transformation roadmap for Varicent, identifying and prioritizing high-impact GenAI use cases that can deliver measurable efficiency gains across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success and Product teams.
- • Scout, pilot and evaluate emerging AI automation technologies—ranging from no-code/low-code platforms to cutting-edge LLM orchestration tools—building a living technology radar that keeps Varicent 6-12 months ahead of the market.
- • Translate complex business pain points into structured, testable requirements that developers and data scientists can execute against, ensuring every automation initiative is grounded in clear ROI, user adoption and scalability criteria.
- • Run rapid experimentation sprints (2-4 weeks) to validate assumptions, measure lift and iterate on solutions before scaling; maintain a transparent dashboard of KPIs such as hours saved, cost avoided, NPS uplift and revenue acceleration.
- • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders—Revenue Operations, IT Security, Legal and Data Governance—to embed responsible AI practices, maintain compliance and secure executive sponsorship for each transformational project.
- • Build and nurture a community of AI champions inside Varicent, delivering enablement sessions, self-service toolkits and office hours that democratize automation skills across non-technical teams.
- • Manage the full delivery lifecycle of transformational projects: ideation, business case, vendor selection, sprint planning, change management, training and post-launch optimization, ensuring every initiative lands on time, on budget and with quantifiable impact.
- • Continuously refine our AI Center of Excellence playbook, documenting best practices, reusable templates and governance guardrails so future projects launch faster and safer.
- • Report directly to the SVP of Operations with quarterly business reviews that highlight wins, lessons learned and next-quarter investment asks, positioning yourself as the strategic voice for AI-driven growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years leading technology-driven transformation initiatives in a SaaS or high-growth environment, with a proven track record of delivering measurable efficiency or revenue gains.
- • Strong technical fluency—able to read API docs, design data flows and evaluate LLM outputs—without needing to write production code; hands-on experience with no-code/low-code platforms (Zapier, Make, Retool, etc.) is essential.
- • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured requirements, user stories and success metrics that engineering and data teams can execute against.
- • Exceptional stakeholder management skills: comfortable presenting to C-suite, facilitating workshops and driving consensus across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Product organizations.
- • Experience designing and running controlled experiments or A/B tests to validate automation impact; familiarity with SQL, BI tools and basic statistics is a plus.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote-first culture with flexible hours and quarterly in-person off-sites in top-tier locations.
- • Annual professional development stipend of $3,500 for courses, conferences and certifications.
- • Equity participation in Varicent’s growth journey, alongside competitive base salary and performance bonus.
