- • The AI Platform Engineer designs, builds, and operates SouthState Bank’s Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio ecosystem to enable secure, scalable AI-driven business solutions across the enterprise, directly supporting the bank’s mission of combining personal relationships with forward-thinking technology.
- • Day to day, the engineer designs and deploys Copilot Studio agents, develops custom Power Platform connectors and MCP servers, architects Dataverse solutions, builds agent tools in C# and .NET 10, manages Power Platform ALM via GitHub Actions, implements responsible AI governance, and mentors both pro-code and citizen developers on secure AI engineering practices.

- • In this role, the engineer will gain deep expertise in enterprise AI integration, responsible AI governance, and scalable Power Platform delivery while advancing their technical leadership in Microsoft’s AI ecosystem and contributing to measurable reductions in operational risk and cost across banking workflows.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or 5+ years of equivalent experience
- • 5+ years building enterprise solutions on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), including 2+ years on Microsoft Copilot Studio or comparable conversational AI / agent platforms
- • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate, Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Copilot Studio (one or more preferred)
- • Proficiency in C# and modern .NET (.NET 10 / C# 13, ASP.NET Core, Minimal APIs, Azure Functions) for building connectors, MCP servers, Dataverse plug-ins, and agent tools
- • Experience with Microsoft Azure breadth supporting AI workloads: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, API Management, Key Vault, Microsoft Entra ID, and Application Insights
- • GitHub platform expertise: Actions (reusable and matrix workflows, OIDC federation), Advanced Security, Dependabot, GitHub Copilot, and environment policies for Power Platform pipelines
