- • As an AI Forward Deployed Engineer at Camunda, you will be part of the first cohort deploying ProcessOS—a new product that transforms natural language business processes into executable, self-improving BPMN workflows—directly at enterprise customer sites. This role is pivotal in moving AI from pilot to production by owning the full deployment lifecycle, from initial process file to a functioning, measurable system that customers can operate independently.
- • Day to day, you will deploy and validate workflows in production, debug integration failures, configure Camunda clusters in cloud and local environments, build custom agents for legacy systems, write connector logic, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to drive adoption and trust. You will also document deployment patterns, contribute improvements back to the product, and hand off fully trained customer teams capable of autonomous operation.

- • In this role, you will gain deep expertise in deploying AI-driven workflows at scale, influence the direction of a breakthrough product through real-world feedback, develop rare skills in enterprise AI integration and stakeholder alignment, and build a tangible impact on customer operations—leaving behind self-sustaining capabilities and a documented playbook for future deployments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Enterprise production experience: you’ve shipped something inside a large organisation and stayed to see it operate. You know why governance and resilience matter at scale.
- • Technical depth: you can debug an integration failure, write a custom agent against a legacy API, stand up a Camunda cluster from scratch, and explain generated BPMN to both engineers and business leads.
- • Stakeholder communication: you work effectively across engineering, architecture, and business leadership and adapt how you communicate without losing precision.
- • Practical AI experience: you’ve used AI to solve real problems in production – not just experimented. You understand context management, prompt engineering, agent testing, and integration tradeoffs.
- • Comfort with ambiguity: you make sound judgment calls without a playbook and document what you learn.
