📋 Description

• As an AI Product/Projects Specialist (Ops & Commercial) at AnyVan, you will drive the end-to-end AI product and project roadmap across Operations and Commercial, shaping what gets built, shipped, and measured to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Day to day, you will lead AI improvements from idea to impact—defining problems, writing briefs, prioritising work, shipping MVPs, measuring results, and iterating—while hands-on testing and tuning AI agents across chat, voice, support, bookings, and sales using prompt engineering and low-code tools.
• You’ll work within a mission-driven team of 400 AnyVanners across London, Cape Town, and Bogota, dedicated to reducing wasted miles and carbon emissions through smart logistics technology, with a culture that values progress over perfection and one-team thinking.
• In this role, you’ll develop strong product instincts, sharpen your technical and stakeholder communication skills, gain deep experience in AI operations and automation, and directly contribute to measurable business outcomes like reduced FTE hours, improved AI accuracy, and increased ROI—accelerating your career in AI-driven operations.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in AI Operations, business analysis, junior product, engineering, or technical operations with a proven track record of shipping and fixing AI-driven solutions.
• Comfortable working across the Ops/AI stack including Twilio, HubSpot, data tooling, low-code platforms, and basic scripting, with ability to choose and customise the right tools (e.g., Claude, LLMs) for each task.
• Strong product instincts: ability to scope problems, prioritise work, ship MVPs, measure impact, and iterate based on data and feedback.
• Excellent communicator who can translate between business, engineering, product, and leadership teams to drive alignment and results.
• Bias for action and self-learner mindset—comfortable with ambiguity, quick to pick up new tools (e.g., via YouTube tutorials), and driven to ship, learn, and iterate.
• Fully eligible to work in South Africa and able to work from the Cape Town office at least 3 days per week.
