• • As an AI Security and Customer Engagement Advisor at Okta, you will be a pivotal senior technical leader, strategist, and evangelist, tasked with harmonizing customer aspirations in AI with Okta's cutting-edge Agentic AI Security and Identity solutions.
• • This role demands ownership and comprehensive oversight of the technical leadership across the entire lifecycle of AI products, encompassing sales enablement, successful implementation, strategic expansion, and ensuring long-term customer adoption and value realization.
• • You will operate as a "Builder," actively contributing to the creation of laboratory assets and innovative AI prototypes, while simultaneously embodying a "Seller First" mentality as a technical partner.
• • A core responsibility will be to define, articulate, and champion Okta’s strategy for securing AI, ensuring unwavering alignment among customers, our engineering teams, and the sales force from the initial engagement through successful deployment and ongoing renewal.
• • **"Builder" Innovation:** Spearhead the development of sophisticated Lab/Demo assets and AI prototypes. You will be instrumental in creating "The Engine" that drives sales velocity by ensuring that pricing strategies and technical execution are not only innovative but also grounded in practical field realities and customer needs.
• • **Asset Creation & Scaling:** Develop robust reference architectures, insightful whitepapers, and standardized Proof of Concept (POC) guides. Your work will form the "Backbone" of our AI knowledge base, establishing centralized hubs and comprehensive reporting dashboards to effectively scale AI expertise across our global organization.
• • **Field Enablement & "The Loop":** Provide critical strategic guidance and technical support to Sales Engineers (SEs), Technical Account Managers (TAMs), and Professional Services teams. You will act as the vital feedback loop, channeling insights and challenges from the field back to the Product teams to address technical gaps and ensure our solutions seamlessly integrate into complex customer environments.
• • **Market Influence:** Represent Okta's advanced AI strategy at prominent industry conferences and analyst briefings. Cultivate and nurture strategic alliances with key cloud and AI partners to accelerate innovation and broaden our market reach.
• • **Technical Leadership & Roadmap Influence:** Serve as the definitive executive AI authority for Okta’s comprehensive product portfolio. Collaborate closely with the Chief Product Officer (CPO), Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Engineering leadership to influence product roadmaps, championing "AI-first" innovations and promoting the adoption of modular, repeatable solution patterns.
• • **Full-Lifecycle Strategic Engagement:** Act as a trusted advisor to Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and Chief Information Officers (CIOs) at enterprise organizations. Lead high-impact POCs to secure critical wins, and maintain engagement through meticulous "outcome mapping" to guarantee that the technical delivery precisely aligns with the initial strategic vision and customer objectives.
• • **Expansion & Churn Prevention:** Proactively identify technical upsell opportunities by monitoring and understanding successful customer usage patterns. Partner effectively with Post-Sales teams to develop comprehensive runbooks and detailed implementation guides that streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and significantly enhance customer adoption and satisfaction, thereby preventing churn.
