- • Lead the development and implementation of Deel’s AI security strategy across infrastructure, product ecosystems, and agentic workflows to protect AI-powered systems and customer data.
- • Conduct comprehensive security assessments and threat modeling for machine learning models, large language model (LLM) integrations, and autonomous AI systems to identify and mitigate emerging risks.
- • Evaluate, select, and deploy AI Security Posture Management (AISPM) and AI Detection & Response (AIDR) solutions to enhance visibility and control over AI-driven environments.
- • Secure Model Context Protocol (MCP) server deployments by enforcing authentication, authorization, data flow controls, and supply chain risk assessments.
- • Own the end-to-end security review and enablement process for internal AI tool adoption, including approval of LLMs, AI code generators, and AI-powered SaaS platforms with defined guardrails.
- • Develop and enforce organization-wide policies for the safe use of AI tools, ensuring alignment with security best practices and compliance requirements.
- • Secure internal AI-assisted development environments, including vibe coding workflows, through application security reviews, CI/CD pipeline hardening, and dependency scanning.
- • Plan and execute targeted penetration tests against AI/ML models and AI-powered systems, simulating prompt injection, model manipulation, data extraction, and adversarial attacks.
- • Design and implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls specific to AI environments, including tenant restrictions, data classification, and mitigation of prompt injection vulnerabilities.
- • Conduct structured security reviews of AI-related connectors, plugins, and third-party integrations using formalized approval pipelines to ensure secure adoption.
- • Collaborate with SOC and incident response teams to build AI-specific detection rules, playbooks, and response procedures tailored to AI threat vectors.
- • Continuously monitor the evolving AI threat landscape, track new attack techniques, and translate emerging risks into actionable security controls and updated organizational policies.
- • Contribute to compliance initiatives by ensuring all AI deployments meet SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other applicable regulatory standards.
- • Partner with engineering, product, IT, and security teams to embed security into AI development lifecycles and ensure secure-by-design principles are followed.
- • Enable safe innovation by acting as a trusted advisor to internal teams, helping them leverage AI tools confidently while maintaining Deel’s security posture.
🎯 Requirements
- • Expertise in securing AI/ML models, LLM integrations, and agentic AI systems
- • Experience with AI Security Posture Management (AISPM) and AI Detection & Response (AIDR) solutions
- • Proven track record in developing and enforcing AI security policies and guardrails for enterprise environments
- • Knowledge of compliance frameworks including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR
- • Hands-on experience with penetration testing targeting AI systems (e.g., prompt injection, model poisoning, data extraction)
- • Familiarity with secure deployment practices for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and AI-assisted development workflows
