📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance frontend applications that serve millions of global travelers on Airalo’s eSIM platform.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of frontend features from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Architect scalable, reusable UI components and state management systems to support a complex B2C and B2B product ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, backend engineers, and UX designers to translate intricate business requirements into intuitive, responsive user interfaces.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility to deliver seamless experiences across devices and regions.
• Implement and enforce frontend best practices including code quality, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
• Lead technical discussions and code reviews to elevate team standards and promote consistent, maintainable codebases.
• Mentor junior and mid-level frontend engineers, fostering a culture of learning, ownership, and technical excellence.
• Integrate frontend systems with RESTful APIs and third-party services to enable real-time carrier connectivity, eSIM activation, and user account management.
• Contribute to the evolution of the design system and UI library to ensure brand consistency and rapid feature iteration.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and usability issues impacting the user experience.
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and roadmap prioritization to ensure engineering efforts directly impact customer satisfaction and business growth.
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends, evaluating their applicability to Airalo’s scale and architecture.
• Work autonomously in a fully remote environment, managing priorities and delivering high-quality results with minimal supervision.
• Ensure all frontend code meets enterprise-grade standards for reliability, scalability, and maintainability across 200+ countries and regions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or similar)
• Proven track record of building and scaling high-traffic, production-grade web applications
• Deep understanding of state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.), component architecture, and performance optimization
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services in a global, multi-region context
• Strong proficiency in testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives within a distributed team
