📋 Description

• As AI Systems and Operations Lead at Miter Inc., you will drive internal efficiency by building AI-powered systems that connect product, operations, and data across the organization, enabling faster execution and better decision-making.
• You will own Miter’s internal product roadmap, identify high-leverage opportunities to improve internal workflows, design systems in partnership with engineering, and embed deeply with the Customer Experience team to eliminate friction using AI, data, and internal tooling.
• You’ll join a small, high-leverage team focused on rethinking how internal teams operate, where outcomes matter more than activity, and where you’ll have wide latitude to solve problems and ship impactful solutions.
• In this role, you’ll develop strategic thinking, cross-functional influence, and technical fluency in AI and internal systems, while helping scale a fast-growing vertical software company serving thousands of construction contractors.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in a highly strategic generalist role (management consulting, product management, BizOps, or similar), including experience taking products from 0 to 1
• Ability to identify high-impact opportunities where a unit of effort returns an order of magnitude in value
• Baseline technical fluency: comfortable reading API docs, drafting PRDs, and stitching together internal tooling (including AI-powered workflows) without waiting on engineering
• Clear linear thinking and writing: ability to turn messy, imperfect information into logical, actionable plans
• Empathy and strong listening skills: able to uncover the 'so what' behind internal customer pain and translate it into the right solution to build
