📋 Description

• Partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership team on high-impact, company-wide strategic initiatives spanning global expansion, product strategy, financial infrastructure, organizational scaling, and AI-driven operational transformation.
• Drive end-to-end execution of complex, ambiguous initiatives that require cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, finance, legal, operations, and regional teams globally.
• Design and implement market entry strategies for international expansion, including regulatory navigation, banking partnerships, and local compliance frameworks.
• Evaluate and support M&A opportunities, including pre-deal analysis, due diligence coordination, and post-merger integration planning.
• Lead organizational effectiveness projects to optimize operating models, leadership structures, and scaling processes during rapid growth phases.
• Develop and execute commercial acceleration plans to scale new business lines and embedded finance products across multiple geographies.
• Build and maintain strategic frameworks to evaluate business opportunities, quantify impact, and translate insights into actionable roadmaps for executive decision-making.
• Synthesize complex data, market signals, and operational metrics into clear, concise briefings for C-suite leadership with minimal ambiguity.
• Operate with high ownership and accountability in fast-moving environments where information is incomplete and timelines are aggressive.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by providing structured, first-principles analysis to resolve high-stakes strategic dilemmas.
• Leverage AI tools and data-driven methods to accelerate analysis, improve decision quality, and enhance operational efficiency across projects.
• Build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels without formal authority, ensuring alignment and momentum on critical priorities.
• Identify bottlenecks in cross-functional execution and implement solutions to remove roadblocks, improve velocity, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Document, iterate, and institutionalize best practices from one-time initiatives into scalable processes that endure beyond individual project cycles.
• Maintain rigorous attention to detail while balancing the need for speed, ensuring high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
• Act as a force multiplier for the CEO Office by proactively identifying emerging strategic priorities and anticipating leadership needs before they are articulated.
• Contribute to the development of Airwallex’s long-term financial and operational platform as the company scales to serve millions of global businesses.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in top-tier consulting, high-growth technology companies, investing, strategic finance, or similarly high-performance environments
• Demonstrated track record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable outcomes
• Exceptional problem-solving and structured thinking abilities
• Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex topics clearly and concisely
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with high ownership and accountability
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across seniority levels and functions
