Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Join Neon 20Money 20Talks as an AI Trainer specializing in Audio Data Labeling, a pivotal role in shaping the future of artificial intelligence. In this fully remote, part-time contract position, you will be instrumental in enhancing the accuracy, utility, and dependability of cutting-edge audio-based AI systems. Neon partners with premier AI development teams, and your contributions will directly impact the quality of large language models (LLMs) that process and understand spoken language.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously evaluate transcriptions of audio recordings generated by these advanced LLMs. This involves a deep dive into diverse conversational topics, assessing how effectively the AI comprehends and represents the spoken word. You will act as a critical human intelligence layer, providing the essential feedback that AI systems need to learn and improve.
- • A key aspect of this role is generating high-quality human annotations. This means going beyond simple corrections; you will be tasked with identifying errors, nuances, and inaccuracies in the AI-generated text and providing precise, contextually relevant corrections. This annotation process is crucial for training AI models to better understand human speech patterns, accents, and idiomatic expressions.
- • To ensure consistency and the highest standards of data quality, you will rigorously apply established taxonomies and detailed evaluation guidelines. This requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret and adhere to complex instructions, ensuring that your feedback is uniform and reliable across all tasks.
- • You will be assessing the LLM-generated transcriptions on their ability to effectively understand and represent conversations from audio recordings. This involves listening to audio and comparing it against the AI's textual output, identifying discrepancies in meaning, tone, or completeness.
- • The role demands a proactive approach to identifying and correcting errors in transcriptions. This could include misspellings, grammatical mistakes, incorrect word choices, missing words or phrases, or misinterpretations of spoken intent. Your annotations will directly inform the AI's learning process, helping it to refine its understanding of language.
- • You will also be responsible for applying consistent annotations by following clear taxonomies and detailed evaluation guidelines. This ensures that the data you provide is structured and usable for machine learning algorithms. Understanding and applying these guidelines accurately is paramount to the success of the project.
- • This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of AI development, contributing to projects that are shaping how machines interact with and understand human language. Your work will have a tangible impact on the performance and reliability of AI technologies used in various applications, from voice assistants to transcription services.
- • The flexibility of this role allows you to manage your own schedule, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking supplementary income or a flexible work arrangement. As an independent contractor, you will have the autonomy to complete your tasks on your own time, provided project deadlines are met.
- • You will be working with a variety of audio content, which may span different industries, accents, and speaking styles. This requires adaptability and a willingness to engage with diverse subject matter, ensuring the AI's robustness across a wide range of real-world scenarios.
- • Your feedback will be crucial in identifying areas where the AI struggles, such as understanding specific jargon, colloquialisms, or complex sentence structures. By providing detailed and accurate annotations, you help the AI overcome these challenges and become more proficient.
- • This role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong language skills, and are interested in the burgeoning field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. It's a chance to contribute to a significant technological advancement while working remotely and on your own terms.
- • The ultimate goal is to improve the overall quality, usefulness, and reliability of audio-based AI systems. Your meticulous work in evaluating and annotating transcriptions directly contributes to achieving this goal, making AI more accessible and effective for everyone.
🎯 Requirements
- • Native English speaker or ILR 5 primary fluency (C2 CEFR level) with exceptional writing and communication skills.
- • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating a capacity for analytical thinking and learning.
- • Proven experience or strong understanding of how Large Language Models (LLMs) function and are utilized.
- • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify subtle errors and nuances in text and audio.
- • Adaptability and willingness to work across diverse topics, domains, and evolving customer requirements.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote work opportunity, offering flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere globally.
- • Part-time contract role with flexible scheduling, allowing you to manage your workload around other commitments.
- • Weekly payments based on services rendered, ensuring timely compensation for your contributions.
- • Opportunity to work with leading AI teams and contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge AI technology.
- • Gain valuable experience in data annotation and the AI/ML lifecycle.
