- • Join Arc'teryx Equipment Inc., a globally recognized leader in designing and manufacturing high-performance outdoor apparel and equipment, as an Allocations Analyst based in our vibrant North Vancouver, BC corporate office. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic flow of our premium products, ensuring our brand stores and e-commerce platforms are perfectly stocked to meet the demands of our discerning customer base.
- • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the execution of in-season allocation and replenishment strategies. Your primary focus will be on meticulous sales and inventory analysis, directly impacting the availability of our sought-after products across various retail channels.
- • You will be entrusted with overseeing inventory levels, a critical function that ensures our stores and online presence consistently possess the right quantity of relevant product, available to customers precisely when and where they need it. This involves a deep dive into sales data, inventory turn, sell-through rates, and forecasting to make informed decisions.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to developing and implementing allocation plans that align with seasonal product launches, promotional activities, and overall business objectives. This requires a proactive approach to anticipating demand and proactively managing stock levels to prevent both stock-outs and overstocks.
- • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Planning, Retail Operations, and E-commerce, to gather insights, share information, and ensure a cohesive approach to inventory management. Building strong relationships across departments will be key to your success.
- • A significant part of your role will involve analyzing sales trends and inventory performance at a granular level – by store, by product, and by region. This analysis will form the basis for your recommendations and adjustments to allocation strategies.
- • You will be responsible for executing replenishment strategies, ensuring that stores and distribution centers are efficiently restocked based on real-time sales data and projected demand. This includes managing the flow of goods from distribution centers to stores.
- • The role demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of inventory management and reporting. You will be expected to maintain high standards of data integrity.
- • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our allocation processes and systems. This may involve identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and participating in the implementation of new tools or methodologies.
- • You will play a key role in optimizing inventory investment by ensuring that capital is deployed effectively across our retail network, maximizing sales opportunities while minimizing excess inventory.
- • Your insights will be crucial in identifying slow-moving or at-risk inventory and developing strategies to address these situations, such as transfers, markdowns, or promotional activities.
- • You will be responsible for generating regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to allocation, inventory levels, sales performance, and stock turn, providing valuable insights to leadership.
- • This position offers a hybrid remote work model, providing flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our North Vancouver headquarters. You will be an integral part of the Merchandise Planning & Allocations team, a dynamic and collaborative group dedicated to driving sales and margin, and mitigating inventory risks by achieving the perfect balance of the right product, in the right quantity, in the right place, at the right time.
- • You will leverage your analytical skills to forecast future inventory needs, considering factors such as seasonality, market trends, and planned marketing initiatives.
- • Your work will directly influence the customer experience, ensuring that they can find the products they desire, when they desire them, reinforcing the premium brand image of Arc'teryx.
- • You will be involved in the post-season analysis of inventory performance, identifying lessons learned to inform future planning and allocation cycles.
- • This role requires a proactive and agile mindset, capable of adapting to changing market conditions and business priorities.
- • You will contribute to a culture of data-driven decision-making within the team and the broader organization.
- • You will gain exposure to the end-to-end product lifecycle and its impact on retail performance.
- • You will be a key player in ensuring the financial health of our retail operations through effective inventory management.
🎯 Requirements

- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
- • Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday schedule.
