This involves leveraging Flashpoint's proprietary tools and systems to identify, assess, and communicate emerging risks to our diverse clientele. You will be instrumental in helping our customers reduce risk and enhance their operational resilience by providing timely and actionable intelligence.
  • • A core component of your role will be the production of high-quality tactical assessments. These assessments will directly inform critical risk intelligence decision-making processes, enabling clients to proactively prevent cybercrime and protect their valuable assets. You will learn to synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data, discerning information credibility and deducing relevance to meet specific client requests and contribute to the overall intelligence picture for our client base.
  • • You will become adept at building and refining patterns and queries within Flashpoint's advanced tools. This requires a deep understanding of syntax rules to effectively highlight high-signal data, ensuring that critical threats are not missed. This skill is crucial for managing customer alerting profiles and ensuring that our clients receive the most pertinent and timely information.

This includes safely navigating virtual environments when supporting assigned tasks, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive intelligence.
  • • A significant aspect of your contribution will be nominating new collection sources to enhance Flashpoint's intelligence-gathering capabilities. Your insights into emerging threat landscapes will help expand our data reach and improve the comprehensiveness of our intelligence offerings.
  • • You will be expected to strictly comply with Flashpoint's organization-wide policies and procedures, as well as the specific protocols of the Intel team, including adherence to our Rules of Engagement. This ensures ethical and effective intelligence operations.

  • • By the 60-day mark, you will have completed your initial onboarding, gained a solid understanding of internal team operations, and developed a firm grasp of customer alerting requirements. You will begin producing high-quality tactical-level reports for your assigned customers.
  • • By 90 days, you will be confidently handling day-to-day deliverables and tasks independently. You will be proficient in developing, testing, and refining high-precision keywords and patterns within the Flashpoint platform, uploading them to customer alerting profiles without supervision. You will also have initiated your own investigations in response to requests for information and begun building relationships with other teams to foster cross-functional success.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to break into the dynamic cybersecurity industry, providing a structured path for learning and growth within a leading threat intelligence organization.
