- • As an Analyst, Insights & Analytics at Morning Brew, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into compelling narratives that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This position is instrumental in bridging the gap between audience understanding, revenue generation strategies, and impactful storytelling, fostering deeper relationships with our brand partners and enhancing our business intelligence capabilities.
- • You will be at the forefront of understanding our diverse audiences across all Morning Brew franchises and touchpoints. This involves employing a range of mixed-method research techniques and innovative data analytics approaches to uncover nuanced insights into reader behavior, preferences, and engagement patterns.
- • A key responsibility will be the end-to-end execution of paid client research initiatives through our MBI Insights products. This means managing projects from conception to delivery, ensuring that client needs are met with high-quality, actionable research findings.
- • You will conduct and synthesize proprietary research, encompassing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The insights derived from this research will be crucial in informing proactive strategies for our editorial and revenue teams, ensuring content and monetization efforts are aligned with audience interests and market trends.
- • Leveraging first-party data from various business functions – including ad performance metrics, subscriber engagement data, and survey responses – you will address critical business questions. Your analysis will surface actionable insights that empower different teams to optimize their strategies and performance.
- • A significant part of your role will involve querying and analyzing data within Lightdash, our Business Intelligence tool. This analysis will support essential reporting functions, such as franchise health monitoring, in-depth audience composition analysis, and the development of robust sales enablement materials.
- • You will also contribute to the growth and operational excellence of 'The Breakroom,' our proprietary insights community panel. This includes active community management, strategic planning for panel engagement, and ensuring the panel remains a valuable source of consumer insights.
- • Your work will directly influence how we perceive and measure campaign performance, enabling us to build and maintain best-in-class advertiser programs. By proactively identifying and communicating key insights, you will empower our sales teams to sell more effectively, assist marketing teams in developing more targeted campaigns, and position Morning Brew as an indispensable strategic ally for our partners.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of MBI Insights as a recognized research practice and a valuable product offering. This involves contributing to proprietary research packages, reinforcing the strength and credibility of our insights brand, and actively participating in the stewardship of our consumer research panel.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for translating complex data into clear, concise, and persuasive narratives. This ability is paramount for supporting ad sales efforts and nurturing vital brand partnerships, ensuring that data-driven insights are understood and acted upon by stakeholders at all levels.
