Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Serve as the analytical backbone of Solar Landscape’s Operations team, turning raw project data into actionable insights that accelerate the deployment of rooftop solar across the United States. You will own the data layer that underpins every megawatt we bring online, ensuring that commercial rooftops become power plants faster and more efficiently than ever before.
  • • Partner daily with Project Managers, Engineers, Finance, Legal, and external stakeholders to track, triage, and troubleshoot every stage of project development—from initial site screening through Notice to Proceed. Your dashboards will be the single source of truth that keeps cross-functional teams aligned and executives informed.
  • • Build and maintain dynamic KPI trackers that measure cycle times, permitting durations, interconnection milestones, and budget variance. You will surface bottlenecks before they become delays and recommend process tweaks that shave days or weeks off critical paths.
  • • Conduct deep-dive research on zoning codes, municipal permitting requirements, environmental constraints, and land-use restrictions for prospective commercial sites. Translate complex regulatory findings into concise briefs that allow development teams to make go/no-go decisions within hours, not weeks.
  • • Create and continuously refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) that codify best practices across Project Development, Preconstruction, Interconnection, and Finance. Your documentation will serve as the playbook that scales our operations from dozens to hundreds of simultaneous projects.
  • • Design and automate executive-level reporting packages—combining data from Asana, Smartsheet, Google Sheets, and internal databases—so that senior leadership receives real-time visibility into portfolio health, risk exposure, and strategic opportunities.
  • • Coordinate cross-functional meetings, manage follow-ups, and ensure that action items are tracked to closure. You will act as the connective tissue between Engineering’s technical specs, Finance’s budget models, and Legal’s risk assessments, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • • Support strategic initiatives such as new market entry, technology pilots, and financing structures by building scenario models and sensitivity analyses. Your work will directly influence where Solar Landscape expands next and how we structure deals to maximize both impact and profitability.
  • • Leverage visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to turn dense spreadsheets into intuitive charts and heat maps that tell a story at a glance. Whether it’s a board deck or a site-level Gantt chart, your visuals will drive faster, smarter decisions.
  • • Immerse yourself in a culture that values clear thinking, accountability, and execution. You will receive mentorship from senior leaders, attend lunch-and-learns with industry experts, and enjoy the camaraderie of teammates who are as passionate about climate solutions as you are.
