- • Architect and maintain a bullet-proof data layer in Google Tag Manager that supports GA4, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic pixels across 50+ global brand sites—ensuring every click, scroll, and form interaction is captured with millisecond precision.
- • Design custom GA4 event schemas that map to patient-journey funnels, HCP engagement stages, and Rx lift KPIs; push the raw data into Google BigQuery and curate it for downstream BI, ML, and regulatory reporting needs.
- • Write elegant, reusable JavaScript (ES6+) for advanced triggers—think enhanced ecommerce measurement, cross-domain tracking, and dynamic marketing consent logic—while keeping page performance under 100 ms.
- • Lead weekly sprint ceremonies with US-based product managers, UX researchers, and compliance officers to prioritize new tracking requirements, scope effort, and deliver in two-week release cycles.
- • Implement Google Consent Mode v2 and integrate with OneTrust / TrustArc CMPs to guarantee GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA-compliant data collection across 30+ countries—turning privacy into a competitive advantage.
- • Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards that surface real-time campaign ROI, audience overlap, and content engagement to C-level stakeholders; schedule automated anomaly alerts that fire before budgets burn.
- • Troubleshoot tracking gaps using Chrome DevTools, GA4 DebugView, and BigQuery queries—root-causing issues from rogue iFrames to SPA route changes and shipping fixes within 24 hours.
- • Manage GitHub repositories with feature-branch workflows, peer reviews, and CI/CD pipelines that deploy GTM containers, JSON schemas, and SQL transformations with zero downtime.
- • Document every tag, trigger, variable, and SQL model in Confluence; run quarterly enablement sessions for marketers, developers, and QA teams to democratize analytics knowledge.
- • Continuously experiment with emerging MarTech—test Segment connections, prototype server-side GTM on GCP, pilot Adobe CJA for unified cross-channel attribution—keeping the customer two steps ahead of the market.
- • Champion data quality: write unit tests for JavaScript utilities, schedule BigQuery data-validation jobs, and maintain a 99.5 % event-capture accuracy SLA that underpins trust in every insight delivered.
🎯 Requirements
- • Google Analytics 4 certification plus 1+ years hands-on ownership of end-to-end GA4 implementations in enterprise environments
- • 1–2 years architecting and deploying Google Tag Manager containers, data layers, and custom JavaScript triggers that scale across multiple domains and frameworks
- • 1+ years writing SQL in Google BigQuery, optimizing nested GA4 event schemas for cost and performance
- • 1+ years JavaScript (ES6+) experience manipulating dataLayer objects, handling async events, and debugging in production SPAs
- • Git/GitHub proficiency with feature-branch workflows, pull-request reviews, and automated deployment pipelines
- • Nice-to-have: exposure to Google Cloud analytics stack (Dataform, Cloud Composer), Segment CDP, Adobe Experience Cloud, or AWS data services
