📋 Description

• Join Hangar Aviation Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Solutions Engineer, a pivotal customer-facing role dedicated to guiding enterprise clients through their entire technical journey with our cutting-edge AI Data and Unstructured Data Platforms.
• This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives at the intersection of complex enterprise infrastructure, the intricacies of managing and leveraging unstructured data at scale, the demands of AI readiness, and the critical importance of robust governance and compliance.
• You will be instrumental in partnering closely with our Sales teams, acting as the primary technical liaison to our customers, and working directly within their environments to rapidly deliver tangible value and accelerate production adoption of our solutions.
• Your core mission will be to lead in-depth technical discovery sessions with enterprise clients, meticulously translating their strategic business objectives—such as achieving AI readiness, enhancing data governance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing cost and risk profiles—into scalable, resilient, and future-proof solution architectures.
• A significant part of your role will involve delivering compelling live demonstrations, conducting thorough technical deep dives, and presenting executive-level presentations that are precisely tailored to resonate with a diverse range of stakeholders, from highly technical engineers to C-suite executives.
• You will be responsible for designing and meticulously documenting deployment architectures that span on-premise, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid environments, critically outlining the inherent trade-offs, potential challenges, and strategic phased rollout plans to ensure successful implementation.
• Take ownership of end-to-end proof-of-value (POV) engagements, which includes the complete lifecycle from initial installation and configuration, through seamless integration with existing systems, rigorous validation of functionality, and precise measurement of achieved outcomes against defined business metrics.
• Proactively troubleshoot deployment and performance issues that may arise, diligently validating key performance indicators such as data throughput, accuracy of AI models, and the demonstrable business impact of our solutions.
• Play a crucial role in driving the successful transition from a successful POV to full production deployment by creating comprehensive documentation, facilitating effective knowledge transfer sessions to customer teams, and identifying opportunities for solution expansion and further value realization.
• Serve as the essential technical voice of the customer within Hangar Aviation Technologies, Inc., channeling structured, actionable feedback to our Product and Engineering teams to inform future development and enhance our offerings.
• Leverage your deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure to advise clients on optimizing their data storage, access, and management strategies, particularly concerning unstructured data sources like documents, images, videos, and logs.
• Guide customers on best practices for preparing their data infrastructure to be AI-ready, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and appropriate formatting for machine learning models and AI workflows.
• Educate clients on the critical aspects of data governance and compliance within the context of unstructured data and AI initiatives, helping them navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
• Collaborate with sales to understand customer pain points and business drivers, ensuring that proposed solutions directly address these needs and deliver quantifiable ROI.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Hangar Aviation Technologies' product roadmap and technical capabilities to effectively position solutions and address customer inquiries.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with technical champions and key decision-makers within customer organizations, fostering long-term partnerships.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI, unstructured data management, cloud technologies, and enterprise infrastructure to provide informed guidance and innovative solutions.
• Contribute to the development of reusable technical assets, such as reference architectures, best practice guides, and demo scripts, to improve team efficiency and customer success.
• Effectively manage multiple concurrent customer engagements, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
• Articulate the value proposition of Hangar Aviation Technologies' solutions in terms of improved efficiency, reduced risk, enhanced decision-making, and accelerated innovation for our clients.
• This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who can work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong connections with internal teams and external customers.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Systems Engineer, preferably within the Tech, SaaS, or AI industries.
• Strong, hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure encompassing both on-premise and cloud/hybrid environments, with specific familiarity with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals, including routing, firewalls, access controls, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
• Demonstrated experience working with unstructured data environments, including file systems, various storage platforms, access models, and an understanding of associated governance considerations.
• Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to a wide range of audiences, from deeply technical teams to executive-level stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and practical familiarity with common AI workflows, data preparation techniques, and governance challenges specific to AI initiatives.
• Non-negotiable: Prior successful remote work experience and demonstrated fluency with remote collaboration tools and platforms such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar. Experience working with US or UK-based companies is highly preferred, and applications lacking this specific remote work experience will not be considered.
