📋 Description

• As an Analytics Engineer at Octopus Energy Ltd., you will play a central role in driving data-informed decision-making for the company’s energy business by building scalable data products that enhance transparency and optimization of gross margin or cost and pricing logic.
• Day to day, you will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that integrate consumption, cost, revenue, and billing data to create a unified view of gross margin (for the Gross Margin focus) or develop scalable architectures around direct costs like network charges, levies, and taxes in alignment with regulatory requirements and pricing strategy (for the Cost Modelling focus).
• Octopus Energy is a global EnerTech company revolutionizing the energy market with a mission to make 100% of global energy consumption sustainable. Beyond green electricity tariffs, the company installs heat pump solutions, deploys smart meters, advances e-mobility, and generates its own wind and solar power, operating with agility and innovation across international markets.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data product development while contributing directly to the financial and operational steering of a fast-growing, mission-driven energy transition leader.
