• • The Android team at Ready is a collaborative unit of four developers, working in synergy with a broader mobile team of fourteen members, which includes iOS developers, QA testers, product managers, and designers. Our team culture is built on pragmatism, prioritizing progress through practical solutions and fostering open communication. We actively embrace and integrate AI-enhancing tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot to boost our efficiency and output, ensuring we remain at the cutting edge of development. We are a team that is constantly researching and seeking innovative ways to improve our codebase, tackling unique challenges in the ever-evolving landscape of the crypto space and developing groundbreaking new features.
• • In this role, you will be entrusted with significant ownership across the entire development lifecycle of our Android application. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA, to rapidly ship new features in an agile environment. Your work will directly impact the user experience of millions, empowering them to control and prosper from their digital assets and identity. You will be instrumental in developing features that allow users to store, save, spend, borrow, earn interest, and invest using crypto, all within a non-nonsense, non-custodial platform that combines beautiful design with bulletproof security.
• • Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of mobile development, from conceptualization and design to implementation, testing, and deployment. You will be expected to contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring the scalability, maintainability, and performance of our Android application. This includes writing clean, efficient, and well-documented Kotlin code, leveraging reactive programming paradigms like Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous operations. You will also be involved in designing and implementing robust network protocols and data persistence strategies, ensuring the integrity and security of user data.
• • A key aspect of this role involves utilizing modern Android development practices and technologies. You will have the opportunity to work with Jetpack Compose to deliver a best-in-class user experience, focusing on intuitive and engaging interfaces.
