- • The challenge of effective mobile writing, especially in professional contexts, is significant. The Superhuman AI Writing Assistant, launched in 2023, addresses this by making mistake-free writing accessible on mobile, with users interacting with it over seventy times daily.
- • Creating a seamless and reliable writing assistant experience is paramount. There is no room for delays or glitches in a product relied upon for instant responses. As an Android Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- • Collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Machine Learning teams to transform innovative ideas from concept through to production, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- • Contributing to the continuous evolution of our mobile product architecture, with a strong focus on maintaining exceptional responsiveness and peak performance, even within the constraints of mobile devices and varying network conditions.
- • Proactively diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks, identifying and fixing bugs, and driving comprehensive improvements to ensure a delightful and seamless user experience.
- • Tackling complex, real-world communication challenges faced by our users daily, thereby significantly enhancing how people communicate effectively on mobile devices.
- • Developing and implementing robust, scalable, and maintainable code that adheres to modern Android development best practices.
- • Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and foster a collaborative development environment.
- • Staying abreast of the latest Android platform updates, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes and product offerings.
- • Contributing to the technical vision and strategy for the Android platform within Superhuman.
