📋 Description

• As an Android Engineer II at Homebase Labs Inc., you will build high-quality, high-performance Android experiences in the Owners and Managers (OAM) domain, specifically within HRM and SB features that help small business managers staff shifts, understand their teams, and operate more efficiently.
• You will develop clean, scalable, testable Kotlin code using Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, and Flow, while collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver AI-powered scheduling, role management, and team insights.
• You will join a fast-moving, empathetic team obsessed with helping small businesses thrive, where innovation, ownership, and collaboration are core to the culture and every engineer is empowered to raise the bar for mobile excellence.
• You will deepen your expertise in modern Android architecture, performance optimization, and AI-augmented development, contributing to the technical roadmap and improving app reliability for over 3.9M active users while growing your impact in a mission-driven environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Expert in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, and Kotlin Flow
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI frameworks
• Solid understanding of Clean Architecture and MVI pattern
• Proficient with Hilt dependency injection
• Advanced understanding of object-oriented design patterns and their application within Android frameworks
• Strong understanding of performance optimization for mobile applications
