📋 Description

• Join Axon as an Android Engineer II/Senior to contribute to mission-critical mobile applications that protect life by enabling efficient digital evidence management for law enforcement.
• Design, implement, and maintain features within Axon’s mobile apps (Axon App, View, Capture) and shared libraries; collaborate with Mobile Scrum teams to meet sprint goals; set high technical standards through code and design reviews; investigate optimal solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Work within a fast-paced, collaborative engineering team in Ho Chi Minh City on a hybrid schedule (Tue–Fri onsite, Mon remote), reporting to an Engineering Manager in Mobile Development, fostering mentorship and innovation through in-person teamwork.
• Grow your expertise in modern Android technologies including Jetpack Compose, Room, CameraX, ExoPlayer, and Android 15; deepen your impact by shipping high-quality, bar-raising code; lead technical discussions and help evolve the next generation of Axon’s mobile ecosystem.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience shipping world-class Android applications
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Experience with modern Android architecture (MVVM, MVI) and testing (unit, integration, E2E)
• Familiarity with latest native technologies from Google I/O (Jetpack Compose, Room, CameraX, ExoPlayer, Android 15)
• Experience with SDKs for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, networking, camera, audio, file management, and third-party hardware integration
• Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
