- • Take full ownership of the development and technical implementation of Voize’s Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- • Build features that directly improve the daily workflows of frontline healthcare workers, translating product requirements into intuitive, user-centered solutions from concept to launch.
- • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define, design, and deliver high-impact features that reduce digital busywork and amplify human impact.
- • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including ideation, prototyping, testing, deployment, and gathering user feedback to iterate on app performance and usability.
- • Ensure the application adheres to best practices in Android architecture, with deep understanding of Kotlin coroutines, Flow lifecycle, and Flow operators for efficient state management.
- • Implement and maintain robust testing frameworks and automated testing processes to ensure app stability and reliability across diverse device configurations.
- • Integrate and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment, reduce manual overhead, and maintain high-quality release cycles.
- • Apply a strong focus on creating intuitive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces that prioritize usability for non-technical frontline workers in high-pressure environments.
- • Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team to uphold code quality and team growth.
- • Work in a hybrid environment with flexible working hours, balancing time between the Berlin office and remote work from Germany.
- • Engage in regular team events and company off-sites to foster collaboration and cultural alignment within a fast-growing startup.
- • Actively contribute to shaping the product roadmap by providing technical insights and user-focused recommendations based on real-world feedback from 200,000+ users.
- • Maintain awareness of Android platform updates and emerging best practices in Jetpack Compose to ensure the app remains modern, performant, and secure.
- • Support the company’s mission by building technology that gives healthcare professionals more time for patient care, not digital tasks.
🎯 Requirements
- • Several years of experience in Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- • Good knowledge of Git, CI/CD processes, and testing frameworks
- • Deep understanding of Kotlin Flow lifecycle and operators
- • Fluent English (C1 level)
