• • **What You’ll Do Day-to-Day**
• • **Lead Android Development for a New Product Vertical**: You will own the technical vision for a new product vertical at Eleos, from defining the architecture to ensuring seamless delivery. This includes making critical decisions about frameworks, libraries, and best practices to build a scalable, high-quality Android application.
• • **Serve as Tech Lead and Scrum Master**: You will act as both the technical leader and scrum master for a remote team of 3–4 engineers. This dual role means you’ll not only write and review production-quality Android code but also facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. Your leadership will ensure the team stays aligned, motivated, and productive.
• • **Define Engineering Standards and Best Practices**: You will set the bar for engineering excellence by establishing coding standards, architectural patterns, and development processes. This includes conducting code reviews, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ownership.
• • **Collaborate with Product and Design Teams**: You will work closely with Product and Design to translate business goals into technical execution. This involves participating in roadmap discussions, providing technical insights, and ensuring that the product vision aligns with the engineering capabilities and constraints.
