- • Apparel - Sourcing Manager, Women's Leather Outerwear: This role is critical to building and leading Quince’s Women’s Leather Outerwear function from the ground up, directly supporting the company’s mission to deliver high-quality essentials at radically low prices through sustainable, transparent supply chains.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include scouting and onboarding new vendor partners in NE (Northeast) who can manufacture high-quality women’s outerwear with fast lead times, managing existing supplier relationships, driving cost, quality, and lead time improvements, conducting material sourcing across T1–T3 supply chain tiers, negotiating using open costing expertise, managing supplier capacity to scale with growth, and acting as an ambassador to partners while improving SOPs and launch hit-rates through product excellence and bottleneck resolution.
- • Quince is a tech-driven DTC company founded in 2018 that disrupts retail by centering AI, analytics, and automation in its operations. - • In this role, you will gain strategic ownership of a high-impact product category, develop deep expertise in global leather outerwear sourcing, build scalable supplier networks from scratch, influence cross-functional processes, and contribute to Quince’s mission of democratizing luxury through operational excellence and innovation in supply chain management.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of sourcing and merchandising experience in women’s apparel categories, specifically women’s outerwear, with high-end national brands in the United States and Europe
- • Proven ability to identify, onboard, and scale vendor partners from scratch, including negotiating material sourcing across T1–T3 supply chain tiers
- • Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making, process improvement focus, and exceptional attention to detail
- • Experience in supply chain or operations with a track record of contributing to retail landscape understanding
- • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; collaborative nature with ability to work across functions and nationalities
- • Self-motivated, resilient under pressure, curious, and committed to continuous learning and challenging the status quo
