- • Develop, customize, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using the Appian low-code platform to support banking and financial services clients.
- • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate complex financial workflows into scalable Appian process models, user interfaces, and integrations.
- • Design and implement Appian SAIL interfaces, smart services, and decision models to automate core banking operations such as loan processing, compliance reporting, and customer onboarding.
- • Integrate Appian applications with external systems including ERP, CRM, core banking platforms, and legacy databases using REST, SOAP, and JDBC connectors.
- • Ensure application performance, security, and compliance with financial industry regulations including GDPR, PSD2, and local banking standards.
- • Participate in end-to-end project delivery cycles including requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
- • Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks, refining process flows, and implementing efficient data models within Appian’s architecture.
- • Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver iterative releases, conduct sprint planning, and provide daily stand-up updates on development progress.
- • Document technical specifications, system architecture, and configuration changes for internal knowledge sharing and client handover.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in Appian environments, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- • Stay current with Appian platform updates, new features, and best practices to continuously improve development standards and client solutions.
- • Partner with QA teams to define test cases, validate functionality, and ensure high-quality delivery across multiple environments (dev, test, UAT, production).
- • Support client training sessions and knowledge transfer activities to enable internal teams to manage and extend Appian applications post-deployment.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies, code standards, and reusable components within the Appian practice.
- • Engage with global clients across Europe and the US, often requiring coordination across time zones and cultural contexts.
- • Maintain strict adherence to Qualysoft’s quality-first mindset and commitment to long-term client partnerships through reliable, maintainable code and proactive communication.

- • Strong understanding of banking or financial services processes and regulatory requirements
- • Experience integrating Appian with external systems via APIs, databases, and middleware
- • Proficiency in process modeling, UI design, and smart services within Appian
