Application Security Engineer

📋 Description

• • As an Application Security Engineer at Monks, you will play a critical role in securing high-stakes, proprietary application platforms for Fortune 100 clients by leading end-to-end penetration testing, conducting secure code reviews, and driving DevSecOps tooling integrations that improve visibility, reduce risk, and accelerate remediation across global engineering teams.
• • Day to day, you will lead manual and automated penetration testing efforts, partner with engineering teams to execute tactical security objectives, manage and optimize SAST, DAST, IAST, and ASPM tools, integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, perform secure code reviews across polyglot environments (C++, C#, Java, JavaScript), develop security metrics and reporting for technical and executive stakeholders, and create and maintain application security procedures, standards, and playbooks for consistent execution across distributed teams.
