📋 Description

• Design and ship customer-facing AI experiences end to end, from React UI through to the APIs and data contracts behind them
• Build BI-tool-quality interfaces for agentic financial analysis, month-end close, and book-close workflows that are fast, dense, interactive, and trustworthy
• Own complex client-side state and rendering challenges across data-heavy, real-time, agent-driven user surfaces
• Partner with backend teams on API and system design to ensure the full stack serves the product experience, not the other way around
• Use the latest AI coding models and agentic development workflows as a core part of daily development and shipping processes
• Focus on frontend engineering with TypeScript and React, while maintaining fluency in backend systems and API design
• Create polished, production-grade product experiences in ambiguous environments and own them through full lifecycle delivery
• Deliver data-dense, interactive user interfaces that serve as the primary touchpoints for 70,000+ businesses using Ramp’s financial intelligence tools
• Ensure all interfaces are built to handle high-stakes, data-dense financial data with precision, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate on shaping the data layer that powers AI agents analyzing financial transactions, categorizing spend, and automating book-close processes
• Translate complex financial workflows into intuitive, responsive, and trustworthy user experiences that rival the best business intelligence tools
• Work within the Financial Intelligence team under Ramp’s Applied AI organization to build systems that directly impact how companies manage over $200B in annualized spend
• Maintain a frontend center of gravity while being equally comfortable designing the backend systems that feed the UI

🎯 Requirements

• Deep frontend expertise: TypeScript, React, and sophisticated state management in complex, data-intensive applications
• Fluency with the latest AI coding models and agentic development workflows
• Comfort working across the stack, including API design and backend systems, even with frontend as the center of gravity
• A track record of shipping polished, production-grade product experiences and owning them through ambiguity
• Bonus: experience with BI tools, data visualization, or financial/analytics products
• Bonus: experience with agentic AI systems or financial automation workflows
