• As an Applied AI Researcher on our AI Systems team, you will play a pivotal role in enabling companies to identify, build, and realize the full potential of their Generative AI investments, often for the very first time. This is an opportunity to shape the future of enterprise AI by working backward from customer problems and holding ourselves accountable for delivering both significant financial impact and tangible improvements to end-user experiences.
• The AI Systems team is dedicated to designing sophisticated, end-to-end architectures that seamlessly orchestrate perception, reasoning, planning, and execution. Researchers in this role will integrate a diverse array of components, including Large Language Models (LLMs), retrieval systems, evaluation frameworks, memory architectures, and execution agents. The goal is to construct robust, scalable, and reliable systems capable of performing effectively across dynamic and complex enterprise workflows.
• A key aspect of this role involves investigating the fundamental governing principles behind intricate system interactions. You will delve into the dynamics of coordination, information flow, and emergent behaviors across multiple AI agents and models. Your research will aim to uncover the underlying mechanics that drive robustness, composability, and alignment within these systems, ultimately establishing the foundational design language for how intelligent systems should be architected and built.
• We are seeking creative researchers who are driven to push the boundaries of AI utilization in the enterprise. This role is ideal for individuals who are not content with merely achieving incremental improvements on benchmarks or optimizing existing processes. • Your work will involve building intelligent systems using pre-existing models rather than solely focusing on training or fine-tuning them. This requires a deep understanding of compound AI systems, agentic collaboration, and advanced techniques such as ensembling, ReAct (Reasoning and Acting), and Graph-of-Thoughts.
• You will be instrumental in translating cutting-edge AI research into practical, deployable solutions for our Fortune 500 clients. This involves a strong bias towards demonstrating tangible results and showing the power of AI in action, rather than solely discussing theoretical concepts. Our customers expect to see the immediate impact of AI today.
• This role demands a proactive approach to leveraging AI in your own daily workflow. You should be an active user of tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, and Perplexity to enhance your productivity and research capabilities.
• While not strictly a software engineering role, strong programming and data analysis skills are essential. You will need to be capable of building prototypes to test your ideas and conducting rigorous experiments to validate their effectiveness for high-level stakeholders, such as Fortune 500 Heads of AI.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in building and deploying compound AI systems, agentic collaboration, and related techniques (e.g., ensembling, ReAct, Graph-of-Thoughts), with a focus on utilizing existing models rather than solely training or fine-tuning them.
• A strong research track record, demonstrated through publications in top journals, significant open-source contributions, influential blog posts, or other tangible outputs showcasing innovative AI work.
• Daily, practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, Perplexity, or similar to accelerate personal and professional workflows.
• Strong programming skills (e.g., Python) and data analysis capabilities, sufficient to prototype ideas and conduct experimental validation for enterprise stakeholders.
• A bias towards action and demonstrating results, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical, impactful solutions for business problems.
