📋 Description

• Applied AI Researcher role focused on advancing Articul8 AI's domain-specific GenAI platform through research, experimentation, and production integration.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and running large-scale AI experiments, training and iterating on LLMs, VLMs, embedding models, and reward models using agentic pipelines, and pushing the frontier of domain-specific AI through first-principles research in model architectures, reinforcement learning, and knowledge representation.
• The role spans disciplines and modalities, amplifying expertise across NLP, computer vision, multimodal understanding, agentic reasoning, and domain science by leveraging parallel agent systems for exploration, prototyping, and benchmarking.
• The person will build agentic research infrastructure, ship research into production rapidly via agentic CI/CD, amplify collective intelligence through publications and internal knowledge systems, and continuously improve workflows by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks as a core research output.
• This role matters because it enables Articul8 AI to deliver accurate, explainable, and auditable GenAI for regulated industries like energy, semiconductor, finance, aerospace, and supply chain, meeting the high-stakes demands of Fortune 500 enterprises.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field; or MSc with 4+ years of post-graduation research experience.
• Experience training or fine-tuning at least one neural model end-to-end, with understanding of convergence behavior beyond just launching training runs.
• Strong working knowledge of probability, optimization, and linear algebra applied to NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, or information retrieval, including ability to derive the math behind methods used.
• Experience building training or evaluation pipelines handling real data, including preprocessing, distributed computation, experiment tracking, and reproducibility.
• Production-quality Python skills, fluency with Git, and collaborative development workflows.
