- • As an Applied AI Researcher at Articul8 AI, you will advance the company’s domain-specific GenAI platform by designing and running experiments, building training and evaluation pipelines, and shipping research into production, directly contributing to AI systems that meet the accuracy, explainability, and auditability standards required by regulated industries such as energy, semiconductor, finance, aerospace, and supply chain.
- • Day to day, you will architect and orchestrate massively parallel AI research workflows, design and train models across the full GenAI stack (including LLMs, VLMs, embedding models, rerankers, and reward models), push the frontier of domain-specific AI through first-principles research, span disciplines and modalities by leveraging agentic systems, build shared agentic research infrastructure, collaborate to ship research into production via agentic CI/CD, document and publish findings, and proactively identify and eliminate workflow bottlenecks to amplify collective intelligence.
- • You will join a team that combines research, engineering, product, and domain expertise to deliver AI that works for the enterprise, trusted by Fortune 500 enterprises, operating at the intersection of cutting-edge GenAI and high-stakes industrial applications where reliability and rigor are paramount.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in model architectures, training dynamics, reinforcement learning, and knowledge representation; gain hands-on experience scaling AI research with agentic systems; contribute to publishable research at top-tier venues; build scalable MLOps and agentic infrastructure; and develop the ability to translate breakthroughs into production impact — all while working on AI that must meet stringent enterprise standards for trust and accountability.
🎯 Requirements
- • PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field; or MSc with 4+ years of post-graduation research experience
- • Experience training or fine-tuning at least one neural model end-to-end, with understanding of convergence behavior beyond just launching training runs
- • Strong working knowledge of probability, optimization, and linear algebra applied to NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, or information retrieval, including ability to derive the math behind methods used
- • Experience building training or evaluation pipelines that handle real data, including preprocessing, distributed computation, experiment tracking, and reproducibility
- • Production-quality Python skills, with fluency in Git and collaborative development workflows
