In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our energy projects, primarily focusing on medium voltage preventative maintenance and responding to service calls.
- • You will work collaboratively with our Construction Teams and Operations Group, contributing to the commissioning and close-out of projects. Your efforts will be instrumental in meeting contractual obligations for solar operations and maintenance services, ensuring our clients receive the highest standard of care.

This includes work orders, calibration sheets, timecards, and material requests, meticulously documenting the work in progress and upon its completion.
- • You will gain practical experience in the repair, testing, troubleshooting, inspection, installation, removal, and maintenance of solar site equipment. This includes a variety of components such as solar panels, inverters, transformers, breakers, switchgear, and SCADA equipment, all performed under the supervision of the Lead Solar Electrician.
- • As you develop in your role, you will have opportunities to share your knowledge. You may be asked to supervise and train other apprentice electricians or coworkers, imparting best practices for the proper and safe use of tools and maintenance procedures.
- • This position offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow within the renewable energy sector, contributing to tangible projects that drive cost savings, enhance resilience, and support decarbonization efforts for public sector, government, K-12 schools, higher education, utilities, and healthcare customers.
- • Your responsibilities will also include performing other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the team's overall success. The project sites are located in north/northwest Minnesota, and the role requires approximately 26-30 hours per week.
