- • Senior Software Engineer II, Fullstack role focused on building products that power the post-purchase experience for major retail brands, directly impacting customer-facing systems used by millions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new frontend features using React, building reusable UI components for platforms like Shopify and Salesforce, contributing to backend services with Node.js and Golang, working with GCP, deploying infrastructure, and collaborating with product and design teams to turn wireframes into functional interfaces.
- • Narvar is a remote-first company with hubs in San Francisco, Atlanta, London, and Bangalore, serving over 125 million consumers globally through its post-purchase platform used by brands like Nike, Neiman Marcus, and GameStop.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in fullstack development, contribute to scalable architecture, mentor junior engineers, and influence product direction while working with modern technologies including React, Node.js, Golang, GraphQL, and cloud platforms.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS/MS in computer science, information systems, or equivalent
- • 10+ years of experience building reliable, scalable, and high-quality systems
- • Experience with frontend frameworks such as React (preferred), Svelte, Angular, Vue, or Ember
- • Experience building backend services with NodeJS or Golang
- • Experience developing consumer-facing applications that consume APIs from microservice backends
- • Knowledge of full development life cycle and computer science fundamentals
- • Strong focus on code quality and code reviews
- • Experience mentoring other engineers
- • Previous startup experience strongly preferred
