- • Review short audio clips (approximately 5 seconds) to verify transcription accuracy for a high-profile AI training data project partnered with a leading global voice AI platform.
- • Approve transcriptions that fully comply with quality guidelines or reject those containing errors, providing clear, actionable feedback for correction.
- • Identify and correct inaccuracies in punctuation, capitalization, formatting, and adherence to the specified style guide for German (Switzerland).
- • Ensure transcriptions reflect proper linguistic nuances, regional dialects, and contextual meaning specific to Swiss German usage.
- • Collaborate with Analysts by offering constructive feedback to improve transcription quality and consistency across the dataset.
- • Flag recurring transcription errors, patterned misinterpretations, or guideline ambiguities to the project lead for systematic resolution.
- • Maintain strict adherence to project protocols, confidentiality standards, and data handling procedures for sensitive audio content.
- • Work within a structured quality assurance framework to uphold the integrity of training data used to train AI voice recognition systems.
- • Deliver consistent, high-quality reviews within tight deadlines while managing a high volume of short audio segments per session.
- • Participate in periodic quality calibration sessions to align with evolving project standards and feedback loops.
- • Document and report any technical issues encountered during transcription review, such as audio clarity problems or inconsistent file labeling.
- • Maintain accurate records of reviewed items, approval/rejection rates, and feedback logs as required by project management.
- • Operate independently with minimal supervision while ensuring all work meets the project’s precision and compliance benchmarks.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of transcription quality by identifying gaps in guidelines or ambiguities in audio content.
- • Complete all tasks using provided tools and platforms, following instructions for submission, tagging, and escalation procedures.
- • Ensure all work is completed within the approved 10–20 hours per week timeframe over a 6-week engagement, with potential for extension.
🎯 Requirements
- • Native or near-native fluency in German (Switzerland) with deep familiarity with Swiss German dialects and linguistic conventions
- • Proven experience in audio transcription verification, quality assurance, or linguistic data annotation
- • Strong attention to detail with ability to detect subtle errors in punctuation, formatting, and style-guide compliance
- • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for accurate audio review
- • Availability to work 10–20 hours per week for a 6-week period, starting ASAP
- • Ability to follow detailed guidelines and provide clear, structured feedback
