- • Review short audio clips (approximately 5 seconds) to verify transcription accuracy for a high-profile AI training data project partnered with a leading global voice AI platform.
- • Approve transcriptions that fully comply with quality guidelines or reject those with errors, providing clear, actionable feedback for correction.
- • Identify and correct inaccuracies in punctuation, capitalization, formatting, and adherence to specified style guides for Portuguese (Portugal).
- • Ensure transcriptions reflect natural spoken language while maintaining grammatical correctness and contextual fidelity.
- • Collaborate with Analysts by offering constructive feedback to improve transcription quality and consistency across the dataset.
- • Flag recurring transcription errors, patterned deviations, or ambiguous audio cases to the project lead for process improvement and guideline refinement.
- • Work within strict quality benchmarks to maintain high standards of data integrity critical for training AI speech recognition models.
- • Follow detailed project documentation and guidelines provided by the client to ensure uniformity in annotation and verification practices.
- • Maintain consistent output quality across all assigned tasks, even under time constraints, to support rapid iteration of AI training datasets.
- • Participate in periodic quality calibration sessions or briefings to align with evolving project requirements and updated annotation standards.
- • Manage workload efficiently within a 10–20 hour weekly commitment over a 6-week project duration, with potential for extension based on performance and need.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to deadlines and quality thresholds established by the project team.
- • Ensure all verified transcriptions are submitted through designated platforms with proper metadata and tagging as required.
- • Maintain confidentiality of all audio content and transcriptions, treating them as sensitive proprietary data.
- • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, linguistic precision, and cultural fluency in European Portuguese to accurately capture nuances in speech.
- • Adapt quickly to new guidelines, style updates, or tool changes introduced during the project lifecycle.
🎯 Requirements
- • Native or near-native fluency in European Portuguese (Portugal)
- • Proven experience in audio transcription verification, linguistic annotation, or quality assurance for AI training data
- • Strong command of Portuguese grammar, punctuation, and style conventions
- • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for accurate audio review
- • Ability to work independently and meet strict quality and deadline standards
- • Availability to commit 10–20 hours per week for a 6-week period (with possible extension)
