- • The AR Specialist at EverCommerce Inc. plays a critical role in managing the timely collection of outstanding patient and insurance balances, ensuring accurate claim submission, payment posting, and resolution of denials to support revenue cycle efficiency and maximize reimbursement.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing aging reports to prioritize collections, following up on unpaid or underpaid claims with payers and patients, researching and appealing denied claims, posting payments and adjustments accurately, communicating with patients about balances and payment plans, coordinating with internal teams (billing, coding, clinical staff), ensuring HIPAA and regulatory compliance, maintaining documentation of collection efforts, and preparing AR performance reports for management.

🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred
- • 2+ years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable, billing, or collections
- • Knowledge of medical billing, insurance claim processes, CPT/ICD-10 coding basics, and payer rules
- • Proficiency in practice management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact professionally with patients, payers, and colleagues
