  • • As an Area Sales Director for Auth0 at Okta, you will be instrumental in leading and expanding our strategic sales efforts within a designated territory. This pivotal role involves managing a team of high-performing Account Executives (AEs) who are dedicated to serving Application Development teams, including Engineering, Product, Security, and Architecture professionals. Your leadership will be key to spearheading the growth of a global market leader by leveraging our strong existing customer references, a robust partner ecosystem, and strategic alliance relationships.
  • • Your primary objective will be to drive significant revenue growth through a dual approach: acquiring new logos (net new business) and cultivating deeper relationships within our existing customer base to drive cross-selling and up-selling opportunities for Auth0 solutions.
  • • You will be responsible for attracting, recruiting, hiring, and mentoring the Auth0 Account Executive sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. This includes setting clear expectations, providing consistent coaching and mentorship, and holding team members accountable for operational excellence and achieving ambitious sales targets.
  • • A critical aspect of your role will be to ensure the consistent delivery and overachievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. This requires accurate forecasting, diligent pipeline management, and holding each team member accountable for their individual forecasts and results.
  • • You will establish and manage key sales data and supporting metrics, such as pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, Average Selling Price (ASP), and other relevant performance indicators, to drive informed decision-making and strategic adjustments.
  • • A core responsibility is to effectively develop, design, build, and execute all facets of the Strategic business plan. This plan must ensure predictable and consistent quarterly results while maintaining a long-term perspective on overall business growth and market leadership.
  • • You will be tasked with implementing the optimal sales structure, refining sales processes, and developing strategic resource plans to effectively capture key opportunities within target markets, strategic accounts, prospects, partners, and industry verticals across the Strategic segment.
  • • Owning the pipeline generation strategy is paramount. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various departments to define and execute this strategy, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities.
  • • Maintaining up-to-date market intelligence is essential. You will continuously analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to develop and adapt strategies that reinforce and expand Okta's leadership position in the identity and access management space.
  • • A strong growth mindset is required, enabling you to articulate and drive a clear long-term vision and strategy for your team and territory. This involves inspiring your team and aligning their efforts with Okta's broader strategic objectives.
  • • You will be expected to travel as necessary to build and cultivate strong relationships with key customers, prospects, and partners, representing Okta as a trusted advisor and leader in the identity solutions market.
