To drive this vision forward and support our rapid growth, Dandy is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Assistant General Counsel, Commercial. This pivotal role will not only lead and manage the company's legal functions, encompassing commercial contracts, sales agreements, corporate law, employment matters, dispute resolution, and international market access, but will also contribute significantly to the company's P&L by providing strategic commercial guidance to Dandy’s leadership team. You will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on legal opportunities while effectively managing associated risks.
• • As a key member of the legal team, your primary responsibility will be to provide astute risk management across all facets of Dandy’s business operations, fostering an environment that encourages and supports rapid, sustainable growth. You will be tasked with drafting and meticulously negotiating a wide array of commercial agreements with our valued customers and strategic partners. Your approach will prioritize efficiency and the cultivation of mutually beneficial commercial outcomes, ensuring that our contracts are not only legally sound but also commercially advantageous.
• • You will forge strong partnerships with our cross-functional commercial teams, including Sales, Supply Chain, Go-to-Market, and Marketing. Your collaboration will be essential in maximizing return on investment (ROI) and ensuring alignment across all customer-facing and operational initiatives. A significant part of your role will involve supporting critical company initiatives, such as new product launches, market expansions, dynamic pricing strategies, evolving go-to-market motions, and comprehensive customer lifecycle management. This requires a deep understanding of how legal considerations intersect with business strategy.
• • Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in translating complex legal requirements – including those related to information security, technology, regulatory compliance, and other legal frameworks – into actionable insights for our sales, marketing, supply chain, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Your ability to communicate intricate legal concepts clearly and concisely to non-legal audiences will be paramount to ensuring company-wide understanding and adherence.
• • Beyond day-to-day contract work, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Dandy’s founders and executive team, offering strategic counsel on a broad spectrum of legal matters. You will be a go-to resource for navigating legal challenges and identifying strategic opportunities, acting as a key partner in shaping the company's future direction and mitigating potential risks. This role demands a proactive, business-minded approach, where legal expertise is leveraged to drive commercial success and protect the company's interests.
