- • The Associate Accountant role at Prime Therapeutics LLC is a remote position focused on supporting accurate financial record-keeping and reporting, playing a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the company’s accounting functions and enabling sound financial decision-making.
- • This role contributes directly to Prime Therapeutics’ mission of connecting care for those they serve by ensuring reliable financial operations that support the delivery of pharmacy benefit management services.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with month-end and year-end accounting close procedures, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, calculating and posting accrual entries, and maintaining accurate general ledger records for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other core accounts.
- • The Associate Accountant will create standard support schedules to facilitate audits and internal reviews, assist team members with ad-hoc financial analysis projects, and ensure timely completion of assigned accounting tasks in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- • Additional duties may include supporting fixed asset accounting, preparing basic financial reports, and performing other tasks as assigned by the accounting team to meet evolving business needs.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience; a high school diploma or GED is required.
- • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship or residency authorization.
- • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with V-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas, along with working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- • Foundational understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and FASB standards as applied to routine financial transactions and reporting.
