- • As an Associate Actuary at Centene Corporation, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial outlook for Medicaid health plans, directly impacting the affordability and sustainability of care for 28 million members.
- • Day to day, you will serve as the main actuarial point of contact for assigned health plans, develop Medicaid forecasts, analyze legislative impacts, assess reserves and liabilities, identify trends in data reports, and produce actuarial reports to support corporate strategy.
- • You will join a growing, innovative actuarial team within Centene, a national leader in healthcare transformation, where collaboration across functions and exposure to senior leadership are encouraged.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- • ASA or FSA designation (or equivalent international actuarial certification)
- • 2+ years of actuarial experience
- • Advanced Excel skills with ability to manage large datasets, build and audit models, and perform efficient data analysis
- • Familiarity with Medicaid cost drivers, PMPM trends, and financial projection processes
- • Strong communication skills to explain actuarial insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
