  • • As an Associate Brand Manager at Cart.com, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the performance, growth, and day-to-day operations of key eCommerce accounts within our dynamic Commerce Services team. This position is designed for an ambitious individual eager to learn and contribute to the strategic ownership of client portfolios, working closely with Senior Brand Managers and Directors.
  • • You will gain invaluable experience in accountability and execution across critical areas of eCommerce, including growth marketing, site and store management, promotional planning, and executive-level client communications. This role is central to our mission of empowering thousands of leading B2C, B2B, and public sector organizations to unify their commerce operations from discovery to delivery.
  • • The Brand Management team at Cart.com is dedicated to developing and executing strategies that capture, grow, and expand client revenue and brand awareness. We pride ourselves on being highly analytical, thoughtful, and proactive, offering a high-touch, strategic service that is the cornerstone of our client satisfaction, retention, and expansion efforts.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to support a diverse portfolio of mid-market to enterprise eCommerce clients, working in tandem with the strategic lead assigned to each business. A key aspect of this role involves building and maintaining trusted, long-term client relationships through clear, consistent communication and upholding high standards of accountability.
  • • You will actively contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) by meticulously pulling and analyzing performance data. This data will be translated into actionable insights and clear growth strategies, demonstrating your ability to derive meaning from metrics and present it effectively.
  • • This role offers a structured learning path to develop confidence in client communication and analytics through regular meetings and business performance reviews, preparing you for greater client-facing responsibilities.
  • • You will provide direct executional support to Brand Managers and Directors, assisting with multiple brand portfolios simultaneously. This involves preparing thoroughly for client meetings, ensuring all necessary data analytics, reporting, attendee coordination, and goal/outcome definitions are in place.
  • • During client meetings, you will be expected to participate actively and provide proactive communication to clients regarding all action items and their current statuses, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • • A significant part of your role will be managing timelines, budgets, and coordinating cross-functional resources to ensure the successful delivery against contracted scopes and client objectives. This requires strong organizational and project management skills.
  • • You will support the operational execution of various initiatives, including marketing campaigns, promotional activities, merchandising updates, site optimizations, and new product launches, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • • Collaboration is key; you will partner closely with internal teams such as Media, Creative, Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, and Technology to deliver integrated and impactful outcomes for our clients.
  • • You will be responsible for tracking account health, key deliverables, and performance KPIs, which are crucial for supporting client retention, satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • • In terms of eCommerce and Merchandising Execution, you will monitor the execution of the on-site merchandising strategy, including updates to navigation, category pages, homepage content, and seasonal refreshes.
  • • Ensuring the accuracy and optimization of Product Detail Pages (PDPs) across all elements—content, pricing, imagery, and availability—will be a core task, directly impacting conversion rates.
  • • You will collaborate on the execution of product launches, site-wide promotions, and limited-time offers across various channels, including web, email, and SMS, ensuring a cohesive brand message.
  • • Maintaining brand consistency and crafting compelling digital storytelling across all customer touchpoints is essential for building strong brand identities online.
  • • For Growth & Continuous Improvement, you will gain hands-on eCommerce experience across media, supply chain, content, merchandising, and other vital business facets.
  • • You will develop a deep understanding of brand strategy and learn how to lead accounts towards higher levels of Brand Management, fostering your career growth within Cart.com.
  • • Staying current with eCommerce platform updates, industry trends, and emerging tools is expected, allowing you to bring innovative and proactive ideas to your clients.
  • • Contributing to internal process improvements, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives will help strengthen the team's scalability and overall quality of service.
  • • You are expected to be strategic, confident, and client-focused, with a developing ability to influence senior stakeholders. Your organizational skills and project management instincts will be highly valued.
  • • You will be a data-driven problem solver, capable of translating performance metrics into actionable insights, and comfortable operating independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • • Strong communication skills, balancing attention to detail with big-picture thinking, are essential. You should be proactive, accountable, and motivated by delivering measurable impact for clients.
  • • Your professional experience should include at least one year in eCommerce, brand management, digital marketing, or agency environments, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly.
  • • Excellent business acumen, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are required, alongside a forward-thinking, proactive, and curious mindset.
  • • You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong relationship-building capabilities based on trust and accountability, and basic Excel skills with a willingness to learn more advanced functionality.
  • • A strong sense of ownership, a drive for results, and the ability to thrive in a high-performance culture are key attributes for success in this role.
  • • Nice-to-have experience includes prior work in a Commerce-as-a-Service or agency setting, supporting omnichannel commerce strategies, analyzing performance data for client reporting, and proficiency with project management tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.
