- • The Associate Client Executive, Commercial Risk - Insurance Advisory Solutions plays a critical role in supporting Baldwin Technology Company Inc.'s mission to deliver expertly crafted insurance and risk management solutions to clients across the U.S. and abroad. This position is essential for maintaining and growing complex client relationships by providing strategic, consultative guidance on commercial insurance and risk mitigation strategies, directly contributing to client retention and business expansion.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include acquiring and retaining large, complex clients through deep risk analysis and effective communication of insurance architecture aligned with client operations; developing trusted partnerships with key insurance company partners and broker representatives; leading internal discussions on client renewals involving coverage and pricing comparisons, historical loss experience, and projected loss picks; preparing complex marketplace submissions with loss picks, deductible stratification, endorsement requests, and exposure information; assessing final audits for accuracy between client and insurer audit teams; building trusting relationships with clients, partners, brokers, and internal advisors through integrity and expertise; and sharing deep insurance knowledge to train and advise colleagues across the firm.

- • In this role, the Associate Client Executive will develop advanced expertise in commercial risk assessment, insurance placement strategies, and captive structures while refining consultative selling and client advisory skills. They will gain exposure to complex loss-sensitive casualty and workers’ compensation placements, enhance their ability to analyze risk exposures and market conditions, and strengthen leadership in cross-functional discussions. Success in this position can lead to greater strategic influence, mentorship opportunities, and career progression within Baldwin’s advisory and client service teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5-7 years of relevant experience in commercial insurance, risk management, or a related advisory role
- • Current Property and Casualty (P&C) license as required by the State Department of Insurance, or willingness and ability to obtain all required licenses
- • Experience reviewing, placing, and negotiating loss-sensitive casualty and workers’ compensation placements, including captive structures, is preferred
